Canada's Department of Fisheries and Oceans is now selling fishing licenses over the Internet. Buy online before the start of your trip by visiting Recreational Licensing above. Licenses may be purchased at any time; today or for specific dates in the future and are mandatory for your fishing trip. Before you go online; please be prepared with a valid credit card and ensure your computer is connected to a printer as you will require a hard print copy on you at all times during your fishing trip.

Once you have your fishing license, remember to pack the hard copy of your license when you head up to the fishing grounds and get ready for some BIG BITES!
